陈翔，博士，副教授，硕士生导师，美国计算机协会（ACM）会员、美国电气和电子工程师协会（IEEE）会员、中国计算机学会（CCF）高级会员、2019年起任中国计算机协会系统软件专委会执行委员和软件工程专委会执行委员。
2002年于西安交通大学获学士学位，2008年和2011年于南京大学计算机科学与技术系获硕士和博士学位，师从博士生导师陈道蓄教授和顾庆教授。2018年受江苏政府留学奖学金资助，对新加坡南洋理工大学网络空间安全实验室进行为期一年的学术访问，访问对象为国际网络空间安全领域专家Yang Liu教授。2009年受南京大学研究生院资助，对瑞士苏黎世大学软件演化和体系结构实验室进行短期学术访问，访问对象为国际软件演化领域权威专家Harald C. Gall教授。
近些年来在软件质量保障领域（包括智能软件工程、软件仓库挖掘、经验软件工程、软件测试与维护等）展开了一系列深入的研究。在权威国际期刊《IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering》、《ACM Transactions on Software Engineering and Methodology》、《IEEE Transactions on Reliability》、《Information and Software Technology》、《Journal of Systems and Software》、《Journal of Computer Science and Technology》、《Journal of Software: Evolution and Process》、《Software: Practice and Experience》、《Science China: Information Sciences》，权威国际会议ICSE、ESEC/FSE、ASE、ICSME、ICPC、SANER、ISSRE等，国内一级学报《中国科学：信息科学》、《计算机学报》、《软件学报》等上共发表高质量学术论文150余篇，被SCI或EI索引近130篇。其中论文“Automated Query Reformulation for Efficient Search Based on Query Logs from Stack Overflow”被软工顶级会议ICSE 2021评为ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award，论文“静态软件缺陷预测方法研究”入选一级学报《软件学报》2018年高影响力论文。
目前担任《Information and Software Technology》期刊编委会成员。先后担任《ACM Computing Surveys》、《IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering》、《ACM Transactions on Software Engineering and Methodology》、《IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing》、《Empirical Software Engineering》、《Journal of Systems and Software》、《Information and Software Technology》、《IEEE Transactions on Reliability》、《Science China: Information Sciences》、《Software Testing, Verification and Reliability》、《Journal of Software: Evolution and Process》、《计算机学报》、《软件学报》、《中国科学：信息科学》等五十多种软件工程研究领域权威期刊的审稿人。曾多次被《Information and Software Technology》、《软件学报》、《计算机科学》期刊评为优秀审稿专家。
